About speaking:
Talks last for 5 -10 minutes. The crowd will be super smart, super enthusiastic, and generally one of the most receptive and thoughtful groups you can find in Portland. We'll have a computer and a projector available, but all-analog presentations are more than welcome as well.
Please read: If you have a presentation you’d like to project, we must have a copy of your files three days before, just in case something isn’t compatible. We vastly prefer pdfs to PowerPoint, but will accept either.
What Should You Talk About?
We started out asking people to present specifically about the projects they run in Portland, but we've had some lovely surprises where people with exciting projects presented about something entirely different, and entirely interesting. So we now have two different kinds of talks to choose from: The Basic and The Project.
The Basic Talk
Feel free to speak about anything that interests you We do have a standard format available for those who want it. We ask four questions: What do you do? What do you want to do? What do you need? What can you offer?

The Project Talk
Talk about a specific project that you're involved in or trying to get running. We have another form for you to use if you want to get into detail about what you're doing. That form is here!
