NOTE: We are aware of the slow loading time on pages that load content from external services. We are working on a solution
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be moving content from the old site to this new one. During that time, you can always go to archive.research-club.org to find anything we’ve posted before.
The new design is all about getting interesting content into your brain. This includes all the videos, photos, presentations, and writing from our events and projects.
What’s new?
Collections
These are themed groups of articles, videos, slideshows, and other resources on the web. Collections are a quick way of seeing everything that relates to a project, an event, or an idea. For example, here's everything we've got at the moment that has to do with Brunch.
Articles
We’ll be adding summaries of individual projects and events with links to related resources as a way of looking deeper at the the ideas behind them and a way of recording them for those of you who couldn’t be there.
We’re excited to welcome the amazing Chloe Deitz to the editorial team repsonsible for these articles.
New, easier-to-remember address for our blog!
Not only is our blog now easy to find at blog.research-club.org, we're using it again! Look for posts of lots of interesting stuff on a regular basis.
Coming soon: Sharing!
A lot of the content that shows up in collections will becoming from our accounts in other places: Vimeo, our blog, Google Photos, and Twitter. We’re still getting all our internet-ducks in a row, but once we do, we’ll open it up to you! If you use any of these accounts, you will soon be able to tag your content with the codes we use for our collections, and your material will show up in our collections!
Roadmap
As with everything we do, the site is a work-in-progress. Here's what’s planned. Have a suggestion? See a bug? Email us and let us know. But be nice! 99% of this site was made by our director, Ním, who is always juggling many roles. Also! Thanks 1,000,000x to Chris Herdt, our imperial webmaster.
